Platform Definition:
The “Sumud” platform is a media initiative aimed at shedding light on the suffering of Palestinians in marginalized areas affected by daily violations by settlers and occupation forces. This platform serves as the voice of the land and the people, working to break the silence surrounding the truths that the occupation seeks to erase.
Objectives and Vision:
Produce approximately 20 short films (3-5 minutes each), along with infographics and photo stories, to highlight the narratives and hardships of residents in affected Palestinian areas.
Our goal is for the “Sumud” platform to be a powerful voice that communicates the struggles of Palestinians in the most marginalized areas, revealing the truth that the occupation tries to erase
Publish these productions on social media platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook) to elevate global awareness of the daily violations endured by Palestinians
Through this initiative, we aim to enhance global awareness of the Palestinian reality and empower local communities to tell their own stories.
Train groups from the affected areas on how to use filming and editing tools to document their reality directly and effectively.

After completing my first film titled 'On My Land' and touring with it, I realized the importance of amplifying the voices of Palestinians to the world. Images and voices are not just tools of expression; they are a form of resistance.
It was shocking for me to discover that many people are unaware of the current situation in the West Bank, which faces daily attacks by the occupation and settlers. Even more surprising was the fact that some people believe that life in the West Bank is filled with peace, quiet, and safety, while the reality is entirely different.
